10-Year Limited Warranty

This warranty is valid for 10 years from the date of original purchase and covers any defects in materials or craftsmanship. It does not cover: wear and tear; normal changes in softness or resilience (including impressions less than 0.75 inches in depth); stained or soiled product; misuse or improper maintenance; alteration or repair by unauthorized representatives; or damage resulting from transit, handling, use, accident, or otherwise. Malouf™ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if additional exclusions apply. Mattresses should be opened within 30 days of delivery for the warranty to apply. Likewise, the warranty is only valid if a mattress protector was purchased on the same receipt as the mattress (online or in-store). This warranty only applies to the original purchaser residing in the United States or Canada and does not protect purchasers residing in other regions, counterfeit products, or products purchased from unauthorized retailers.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The foregoing warranty shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties otherwise arising by operation of law, course of dealing, custom, trade, or otherwise. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or inability to use this product. This warranty and any dispute related thereto will be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, U.S.A, except for its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts in Utah will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to this warranty.

20-Year Warranty

American Beddin Adjustable Bases offer a warranty which runs for up to twenty (20) years from the date of purchase, according to the tiers set forth below.

YEAR 1: Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. American Bedding will send replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser, and American Bedding will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts.

YEARS 2-5: During the years two (2) through five (5) from the date of purchase, American Bedding will offer replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).

YEARS 6-20: During the years six (6) through twenty (20) American Bedding will offer replacement parts for any mechanical bed part (excluding electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors). Purchaser shall pay 1/5th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since 5 years after the warranty commencement date, and American Bedding shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).

15-Year Limited Warranty

It does not cover stained products, wear and tear, damage to furniture or hardware due to improper assembly or care, or alterations by an unauthorized representative. American Bedding, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to determine if additional exclusions apply. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser residing in the United States or Canada and does not protect counterfeit products or products purchased from unauthorized retailers. American Bedding reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if additional exclusions apply. American Bedding will repair, replace, or refund any product that proves to be defective in materials or craftsmanship. At its sole discretion, American Bedding retains the right to resolve a warranty claim by offering a refund instead of repairing or replacing defective items. In the event a refund is offered, the maximum value the original purchaser receives shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
